1st Wootton Scout Group (Reg. Charity No.1005194)
1st Wootton Scout Group is a lively and thriving group, run by a good team of leaders and helpers. Records show that we have been in existence since 1911, originally as a Sea Scout Group but now as a conventional Scout group. We are fortunate to have our own Scout Headquarters in Wootton recreation ground just behind Wootton Primary School. We have four sections, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers and as we like to maintain a high leader-to-child ratio there may be a waiting list for some sections. For details contact the Group Scout Leader, email: 1stwoottongsl@gmail.com
Beavers are boys and girls from 6½ to 8 years old and meet on a Friday evening.
New members are welcome and details are available from the Beaver Scout Leader, email: 1stwoottonbeavers@gmail.com
Cubs are boys and girls from 8 to 10½yrs old and meet on a Wednesday evening. New members are welcome and details are available from the Cub Scout Leader, email: 1stwoottoncubs@gmail.com
Scouts are boys and girls from 10½ to 14yrs old and meet on a Tuesday evening. New members are welcome and details are available from the Scout Leader, email: 1stwoottonscouts@gmail.com

We are always looking for adults to become helpers, leaders or committee members, also young leaders under 18 are welcome. Contact the Group Scout Leader, email: 1stwoottongsl@gmail.com.
